Apple launches the redesigned iPad with a bigger screen and USB-C.

The redesigned 10-generation iPad comes with a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, with no home button or headphone jack, Touch ID on the power button, flatter edges, and a sleeker look.

The iPad is available at a starting price of Rs 37,000 for the 64GB + Wi-Fi model, whereas the Wi-Fi + Cellular model starts at Rs 46,000.

The powerful new tablet arrives October 26th as Apple struggles to truly nail multitasking on the iPad.

Apple has brought USB-C across new devices.

The new iPads also offer better integration with the Apple Pencil, implementing a new hover feature that lets the tablet execute actions when the pencil is just hovering above the screen. Apple suggests this feature will help artists sketch with greater precision, but it is also something third-party apps will be able to use for new use cases.

iPad Pro With M2 Chip

Now talking about the all-new next-generation iPad Pro. The Apple device comes packed with an M2 chip that features Apple's next-gen Pencil hover experience and super-fast wireless connectivity. The iPad Pro also comes with the world's most advanced mobile display, as per Apple, and pro cameras, Face ID, and a four-speaker audio system.

The new Apple iPad comes with the M2 chip following the 13-inch MacBook Pro which adopted the M1 successor earlier this year. Just like the last iPad Pro, the new tablet also comes in two sizes, an 11-inch variant, and a larger 12.9-inch variant.

Both the iPad Pro models will come with a new feature wherein they will be able to detect the Apple Pencil hovering above the display. This will allow for the addition of UI features based on the placement of the pencil.

This also allows users to sketch and illustrate with even greater precision and makes everything users do with Apple Pencil even more effortless. For example, with Scribble, text fields automatically expand when the pencil gets near the screen, and handwriting converts to text even faster. Third-party apps can also take advantage of this new feature to enable entirely new marking and drawing experiences.

The new 10-generation iPad has been priced at ₹44,900, while the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models cost ₹81,900 and ₹1,12,900 respectively. The devices will be available starting from 28 October.

The iPad Pro models will also come with Wi-Fi 6E network with support for a broader range of 5G bands for enhanced connectivity.

The tablet also supports the new Magic Keyboard Folio. The Magic Keyboard Folio comes with full-size keys, 1mm travel, and a trackpad with gesture support. A 14-key function row is also present for quick actions. The Magic Keyboard Folio attaches magnetically to the iPad and requires no charging. The tablet also now supports the Apple Pencil.

Apple has responded to some of the Stage Manager feedback by delaying external monitor support and expanding the feature to support more iPads models.
