Cyber Monday Sale Save on j9 Plus, Combo j9 Plus, and j5 Plus Models
Seize the opportunity with Cyber Monday deals on iRobot's cutting-edge robot vacuums.
The flagship Roomba j9 Plus and the more budget-friendly Combo i5 and j5 models are currently available at special discounted prices.
With a change in ownership on the horizon, iRobot is diving into the Cyber Monday shopping frenzy by offering significant discounts on its brand-new vacuum lineup.
The weekend sale kicked off with the Roomba Combo i5 Plus and Combo j5 Plus, iRobot's new budget and midrange offerings. On Sunday, prices were slashed by $400 on the top-of-the-line models, the j9 Plus and Combo j9 Plus.
The Roomba j9 Plus, iRobot's flagship robot vacuum, is now priced at $599, down from $899, at leading retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Wellbots.
This powerhouse comes equipped with a self-empty dock and features from the Roomba j7, including AI-powered obstacle avoidance, ensuring it navigates around household obstacles effortlessly.
With higher suction power than the j7, it introduces three vacuuming levels (previously exclusive to the Roomba s9) and a new Dirt Detective feature that prioritizes cleaning the dirtiest rooms first.
The Combo j9 Plus, the latest in Roomba's robot vacuum lineup with integrated mopping, is available for $999 after a $400 discount. It's the first Roomba that can refill its own mop reservoir and empty its bin automatically.
The redesigned self-empty/fill dock serves a dual purpose with a stylish design that can act as a side table.
The mopping version of Combo j9 Plus is also on sale for $999 ($400 off) at Amazon, Lowe’s, and Wellbots. It boasts a unique retractable mop that can be lifted over its body when transitioning to vacuuming carpet.
The Combo j9 adds a new mopping feature called SmartScrub, moving the robot back and forth while mopping to simulate scrubbing, combining with Dirt Detective to target high-traffic areas like kitchens and entryways.
In the budget and midrange categories, the Roomba Combo i5 Plus is now available for $349 (down from $549), and the Combo j5 Plus is priced at $499 (originally $799.99).
Both models, available at various retailers including Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and Wellbots, offer versatile vacuuming and mopping capabilities.
While I haven't tested these new models yet, the Combo i5 Plus, an upgrade to the top budget pick Roomba i3 Evo, features a swappable mopping bin and a sleeker self-empty base. It's ideal for hardwood floors, lacking keep-out zones for carpeted areas.
The Roomba Combo j5 Plus, essentially the same as the j9 model but with added smarts, allows for keep-out zones, no-mop zones, and AI-powered obstacle avoidance, ensuring it navigates around common household clutter.
All these models seamlessly integrate with the iRobot app for scheduling and mapping and can be controlled by popular smart home platforms and voice assistants, including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple’s Siri.
