Introduction

In 2023, we can expect to see even more advancements in technology, but one thing that will remain the same is the need for power banks.

A power bank is a portable charger that can charge your electronic devices on the go. With so many options available, it can be overwhelming to choose the right one. In this article, we will discuss the best power banks for 2023.

What size you’ll need, and any extra features you may find useful, will largely depend on the devices you plan on charging up. With so many of these charging options on the market right now, we tested out a bunch of models to determine the best portable power banks you can get right now.

High-Capacity Power Banks

For those who need to charge multiple devices at once, a high-capacity power bank is the way to go.

The Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh is a great option for those who need to charge their smartphones, tablets, and laptops. It has three USB ports and can charge up to three devices at once. It also has a fast charging feature that can charge your devices up to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Ultra-Portable Power Banks

If you’re always on the go and need a power bank that’s easy to carry around, then an ultra-portable power bank is the way to go.

The Jackery Bolt 6000mAh is a compact power bank that can fit in your pocket. It has two built-in cables, one for iOS devices and one for Android devices, so you don’t have to carry around extra cables. It also has a fast charging feature and can charge your devices up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Solar-Powered Power Banks

For those who love the outdoors, a solar-powered power bank is a great option.

The RAVPower Solar Charger 25000mAh is a powerful power bank that can charge your devices using solar power. It has three USB ports and can charge up to three devices at once. It also has a built-in flashlight and compass, making it the perfect companion for outdoor adventures.

Design

For the most part, battery packs have a squared-off, brick-like design, though many nod towards aesthetics with attractive finishes and detailing.

While that doesn’t affect how they perform, it’s a consideration for something you’ll interact with regularly. Some portable power stations include extra features like MagSafe compatibility, a built-in wall plug or even a kickstand.

Nearly all have some sort of indicator to let you know how much available charge your power bank has left, usually expressed with lighted pips near the power button.

Some of the largest banks take that a step further with an LED display indicating a percentage for the remaining battery, which can be helpful if you’re relying on a pack in a mobile office setting or something similar.

Frequently Asked Questions About Purchasing Power Banks

Here are our answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about purchasing the best power bank in India.

1. Which power bank is better: 10000mAh or 20000mAh?

Both 10,000 mAh and 20,000 mAh power banks are good but the choice between the two depends on your requirement. If you travel more and are looking for a more reliable option, you must choose a 20000mAh power bank.

But if you are on a limited budget and are looking for a power bank that can charge two-three devices, a 10000mAh power bank is sufficient for you.

2. Which power bank is best for fast charging?

Although any 18W power bank is good for fast charging, the OnePlus, Redmi, and Mi power banks are some of the best ones.

3. How much mAh is good for a power bank?

Depending on your requirement, any power bank between 10000mAh and 20000mAh battery capacity is good.

4. How many mAh is the fast charge?

mAh stands for milliamp Hour, a unit measuring power over time. So, mAh indicates a high battery capacity and is not linked with slow or fast charging. Fast charging is indicated by the voltage. If you are looking for a fast-charging power bank, an 18W power bank is good for you.

The Bottom Line

We hope we have helped you find the power bank you were looking for. Please note that we have curated this list very carefully by doing an extensive product analysis and in-depth comparison.

However, as an informed buyer, you must cross-check the features listed above before sealing the deal.

Choosing the right power bank can be overwhelming, but it’s important to find one that meets your needs. Whether you need a high-capacity power bank, an ultra-portable power bank, or a solar-powered power bank, there’s a power bank out there for you.

The only time I used a powerbank more than once a week in the last decade has been for the oculus quest 2 and this article doesn't even recommend a powerbank for it. Doesn't even mention the quest.

Here is a business idea, have small booths at airports and touristy areas, or even tradeshows stocked with rentable power banks, think Redbox, Battbox is appropriately named, renting out fully charged power banks, consumers will rent these power banks for 24 hour for a small fee, when done it can be returned to any of the Battbox booth, win!!!! When you succeed think of me :)
